Good morning everyone,

Over the weekend, we experienced a technical issue that prevented users from logging into the AgingCare site. The issue was fixed, but some users did not regain access immediately. Our development team did a sweep for affected users yesterday and restored their access.

If you were having issues logging in, a simple password reset will get you back into your account.

Some profile pages were showing 404 errors as part of this issue. These profile pages have been restored.
If you have further issues with seeing your profile page or logging into your account, please use the “Send Us a Message” form on this page to let us know: agingcare.com/aboutus

Updates on other fixes:
Our automatic spam blocker has been extra sensitive as of late and some users have been incorrectly blocked from posting. A fix for this is being coded and should be ready in approximately 2 weeks (allow a few extra days for testing and troubleshooting). If you feel you’ve been blocked in error, please use the “Send Us a Message” form on this page to let us know: agingcare.com/aboutus.

Message deletion is down on profile pages. A fix for this will be coded after the work on the spam blocker.

Additionally, our roadmap for the future includes building a messaging "block" feature, to stop messages from people you don't want to hear from.
In the meantime, you can hide the public messages other users have left on your wall by going to agingcare.com/profile/privacy and turning off “Show Public Messages” in your privacy settings.

We appreciate your patience, and the support you show one another on AgingCare.

Does anyone else have troubles with ear-worms? Mine at the moment is the "Tennessee Waltz". Why? Where did that come from? How can I make it go away? I have "Not lost my little darling the night they were playing the beautiful Tennessee waltz".

Hi admin.
So Lealonnie is right about the lag and stability issues, and it’s not infrequent. I suspect this is a stack issue where people are trying to keep in place legacy systems that are basically dying. However, it’s getting to the point where usability depends on newer systems we can actually use, even if legacy posts are lost and we all have to re register.

Every day I have issues with this site loading, error messages coming up, posts not posting, on and on. Why has it become so hard to interact with this site??? It's very frustrating and drives folks away. Today for example, the site has been so slow to load, I'm logging off for the day.

*Took me 4x to post this and now I see it posted twice

Daughterof1930, it is on the home page already, one just needs to scroll down a little way to see it.

Hopefully this will reach AC Tech Team….please add to the main page of the forum some kind of one size fits most answer to how to get paid to be a caregiver with links and also the same for those seeking financial help. These two common questions appear over and over again. Being able to access a quick link to a standard answer with information on this in a prominent place might be a big help. Thanks

My problem is not receiving Daily Questions and Answers to my email as subscribed in my profile.

Looks like we're having an issue again with questions and responses loading in a timely manner. Things seem to just spin and spin for a good bit.
I'll report my post so AC can have a look at it.

I contacted agingcare last week about no longer receiving alerts to my email. Now today problems with loading webpage on the forum. My account under settings shows I should be receiving everything is on. Haven't heard back from tech department. Anyone else stopped getting forum alerts having issues?

Hi all,

Thanks for reporting the page loading issues. I was able to replicate this and have notified the tech team. They're looking into it now!

I did what Willey suggested and could not get backbin from my email. So I went online and came in that way. I had to log in which I never have to do.

It's not just you cwillie, I had issues all day yesterday with the pages loading and looks like today will be the same. I'll report my post so AC is aware.

Is anybody else having trouble getting the site pages to load properly? Recently I'm having to reload 2 or three times before I can view the pages.

If you delete cookies when you close your browser (or manually) everything will be reset. And the icon will come back too lol.

For ages, I could not hide this guy, looks like I just did. Under the reset it has where you can hide him. Click on it and pick hide.

Thx Way. I looked on line how to disable it and followed the instructions to hide and it is hidden, but it isn't disabled so I still get get these annoying sounds. I've hidden it indefinitely so my only recourse is to turn down the sound on my pc. What a pain!!!
ETA
Ahhh - I restarted my pc and the annoying sounds are gone and the widget is gone. Let's hope they remain gone 🤞🤞🤞

Yesterday I couldn't load the website, it just sat vacant. I tried several times, and later finally got on. I knew it was the software as I had no problems with other websites. I use a PC computer tower, and with large screen monitor :)

It was slow for me yesterday (3/24/26) but it did eventually load. It doesn't seem to be happening today so far. I'm on my MacBook Pro laptop on Safari.

Yes cwillie.
At first I thought it was because my phone is getting old . But it’s worse on and off than just alittle slow from my phone.

Is the site acting wonky for anyone else? The last few days it has been slow and often won't load at all.

Margaret, if you look just below your posting, this has been happening for me for some time. I am used to it now, but it is an odd response. I post the answer. It looks like I didn't. I post again and now I have TWO answers show up, duplicating what I said. Sometimes I don't even catch it to say, "sorry; repeat".

For me, I post and it comes up in a box that appears to allow changes. But if I do change anything, it comes up as multiple posts. If I get to it quickly, I can delete and x one of the post contents, but I just don’t understand it as well!
