Our mother was getting older living in her home by herself after our Father passed. There were three of us left, but all lived out of State. Eventually we realized she needed some extra care and we came across Kathy, she was a godsend as my mother deteriorated over the years she needed more and more care and Kathy was always there to help whatever we needed. As my mother developed dementia, she didn’t recognize most people, but she always remembered Kathy and her workers as if they were family. When we finally had to put her in a memory care facility, Kathy still took her to doctors appointments, etc. And she was a helpful source of communication between the memory care center, the doctors, and sometimes even our mother. It’s not often you can find someone that you can have total faith in but Kathy is certainly one of those people.

Kathy was always very nice and helpful. We have used her services for years, and even my daughter said “it’s like she’s a member of the family.”

My mom was 90 when Kathy and her staff at Loving Angels Companion Care started working with her. They have always been very conscientious and caring in their support of her. They would counsel her to make the right decisions about what to eat, and daily tasks to perform. Kathy would go shopping with her at the grocery store, take her to doctor's appointments, and then be able to answer questions I would have. She also would have me on speaker at the doctor if I wanted t attend. My Mom had dementia probably to a less extent many years ago, but in the last 5-7 years it became more of an issue. Kathy would put out her pills and ensure she would take them, and eventually give them to her. Ultimately, my mom would have instances where she thought she lived elsewhere and would try to leave. Eventually, we moved her to memory care mainly due to this issue. Kathy would continue to take mom to doctor's appointments and go see her as requested to check up. My Mom had to go to the hospital several times when she lived at home and later in memory care. When Mom was in the hospital, Kathy would go to check on her and advise us in what the doctor's were saying. At time based on her status we would then fly down there. Mom also was in rehab several times after leaving the hospital, and Kathy would visit her there and keep us informed. I highly recommend Loving Angels Companion Care, they take better care than a family member could as they have experience with elderly.
