As a non-medical in-home care agency, Senior Helpers - Vancouver, WA collaborates with families and other healthcare-related entities to provide professional and compassionate care to clients whose health conditions are "stable and predictable". Our caregivers provide support in helping clients follow discharge instructions following a hospital stay and/or encouraging clients to complete exercises recommended by licensed members of their care team. With Senior Helpers, our clients get just the right amount of support to be able to remain in their preferred living environment, for as long or as short as is needed.
The Senior Helpers home care agency has achieved licensure at the highest levels possible in Oregon and Washington. In each state we offer three levels of care: Companion Care; Personal Care; and Specialty Care, which includes Medication Management, Dementia Care (through the Senior Gems(r) program), Parkinson's Care (through the Balancing Act(r) program), Nursing Services (through Nurse Delegation) and End-of-Life Comfort Care (in collaboration with local hospice agencies).

Senior Helpers is quick to respond to issues. I learned during a care conference that a caregiver wasn't working out. They had a new one is place right away. Even though there have been changes with caregivers and scheduling personnel, they are sending over caregivers that work well with our client's needs. Our family member has dementia with behavioral issues, so having a caregiver that thinks outside the box is very important.

My family used two other services before finding Senior Helpers. My parents are 88 and 92 and still active but in need of care. Senior Helpers staff is better prepared, they are more professional and they provide more communication when there is a concern. The fees are slightly higher but its worth it knowing the staff is up to the task.
