Find Care & Housing
Contact your local public transit company. Where I live, they transport people to medical appointments in a van for the same cost as bus fare. You just have to call and make an appointment for the transport.

You can contact social services for your county to see if you qualify for rides, or call your local Area Agency on Aging for resources. You can also contact local churches which may have Elder ministries and therefore volunteer drivers. You don't have to be a member or attender or believer.

Do you have any in-home care? The company we use (Synergy) will also transport to appointments. We prefer to have a family member do it so they can be an advocate.

Call your insurance carrier and your county aging department.

Some advantage plans have a set amount of transports per year.

Call an Uber, Lyft or a friend, or someone from your church. And if those aren't an option, then perhaps you can call 211 to find out what other options may be available to help you in your area.
