I am really worried about her bed sores, She is in rehab ,but the sores seem to be getting worse. I have been told today they will use a Vac system, but cannot start until Monday , I am really stressing out over her condition and would like to know how successful this can be, Can anyone give advice .

Is there any way to roll her away from the way she lays so the pressure isn't on the same place all the time? They should be moving her every 2-4 hours or so when they check her to change her briefs, if she is in them. Ask when the wound nurse will be there. They handle this all the time, but if left for too long, it can kill.

Yes, make sure its a wound care nurse caring for the sores.

It depends how bad the bed sores are, how deep..... she should be having wound care nurses come to her in rehab to dress and treat them immediately.

I'm so sorry for this stroke your dear daughter had, and I hope she makes a full recovery.
