Had my annual Covid vaccine shot the previous Monday. Usually I stay with Pfizer but the pharmacy was out of that brand, so I figured the vaccines are all the same.

Nope, after the fact, not all the same. Oh how I wished I would have stayed with Pfizer as the side effect was only 24 hours of being so very tired. This time, with the other Pharma, I was tired for almost a week.. had trouble sleeping for 5 days... wasn't hungry... stomach wasn't a happy camper... and I was snarling at hubby. Hubby's side effects lasted 3 days.

So, if you plan to get a Covid vaccine, stay with the brand you have previously used, if the side effects were mild or no effects at all. And note if a love one you are caring for try to get the same brand.

Find Care & Housing
I have had both first moderna, and then Pfizer, definitely had less symptoms with Pfizer. Stuck with Pfizer, after that.

Interesting, when I had covid I couldnt sleep, at all. Sat up all night watching, Little House on the Prairie.

Moderna makes me feel pretty sick. Pfizer not at all. The pfizer is slightly weaker as I understand it. Anyway, got a red and itchy arm from Moderna as well. Last time I got one, a month ago, I forgot to ask, go figure. So I got pretty knocked down and out for two days, chills and weak. Fine on day three. My doc now says take once a year like the flu shot now.

I only had Pfizer for my initial series and boosters until my last booster, when I got Moderna. I didn't notice any difference in side effects between the two, and have been fortunate to just get a slight sore arm and tiredness. Last week when I got the shot for the new variant, it was back to Pfizer. I'd reads somewhere that mixing Pfizer and Moderna could be a good thing for boosting immunity.

I'm probably jinxing myself, but I've never had Covid to the best of my knowledge, though could have had an asymptomatic case. I'm not unusually cautious and have had a couple of close exposures. Maybe I have the gene variant that helps protect from Covid infection.

I had the updated Moderna COVID and a regular flu shot, one in each arm, 2 weeks ago. Didn't feel a thing, no side effects. I had avoided the updated COVID, but my Pharmacist was pushing it.

I've had COVID twice since my original 2020 vaccines/boosters, was coughing for a solid 6 weeks. Quick and easy shots and done. Not going thru months of coughing again!

Are there any long-term side effects to these MRNA injections?

Jwellsy, the covid vaccine is still to some very controversial, I myself have not seen or heard any know long term side effects.

I do know covid can cause long term issues, Long covid. I know many people that have had covid. Out of them, I know 3 that have long term effects from covid, those 3 had no vaccine.

That's why I believe the covid vaccine is right for me.

I don't judge either way or have an opinion on those who don't, but they are right for me.

Jwellsy.....here is but one article on long term side effects of the "vaccines"

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9833629/

I personally feel I got stage 4 metastatic melanoma due to 3 covid shots. My oncologist agrees, as he's seen a staggering number of cancer cases since the roll out of these shots.

The truth will come out in 15 years when all the "random" deaths at 35 for no good reason will be attributed to covid "vaccines".

When I Google, does covid vaccine cause cancer, everything I see says no, fact checker.

But I agree with lea we will not know for 10-15 years.

We all just need to educate are selves and figure out what's best for us on a personal level

It will be 14 days since my COVID Moderna vaccine and I still have brain fog. Antihistamines have helped somewhat. Could be just a coincidence. Hope so.

Google is programmed to give only one side of this and many other issues.

The insurance company actuaries around the world are tracking excess mortality rates very closely. Their data varies wildly compared to what Google will say.

Anyone can go to https://howbadismybatch.com and find out how many adverse side effects have been reported to the CDC's VAERS data base from other people that received the same batch numbers. Scroll down that page for a mountain of information. The embalmer testimonies on blood clots are very interesting.

The results of MRNA animal testing is well documented.

I've had a very different experience with the people I know. 8 vaccinated people I know have developed heart issues in the past 3 years. The vast majority of the people I know that came down sick were vaccinated and they came down with it multiple times. The unvaccinated people that I know that got it, got over it in just a couple of days.

I've been in close contact with several cases. But, I use a dilute povidone iodine nasal spray (sometimes twice a day) to kill these kind of things where they collect and breed.

I have several strong religious objections to these MRNA nanoparticle shots. So for me I see no upside, only risks to taking it.

Curious jwellsy, why did you ask if you need the answer?

The article I linked comes from the NIH. Google is not a reliable source of information AN, of course it's going to say that the vaccine does not cause cancer. Speak to the thousands of us poor slobs WITH cancer and see what we think about Google and other media sources and "fact checkers" banning free speech 😑 As long as the powers that be are pushing FOR vaccines, the truth will be hidden. Jwellsy is entitled to ask whatever question he'd like, imo.

Jwellsy, VAERS has only reported a miniscule amount of adverse side effects, in reality. Vaccinated folks I know have also gotten the virus multiple times, except my DH and I who have never had it. My DD has had it 5x. I have seen no upside to the shots myself, fwiw. Just a lot of real issues, deaths and cancers. We were forced to get the vaccines bc the Mayo Clinic would not give dh a liver transplant unless we did. Sad but true.

I've said my peace since I doubt FFs post was intended to start a discussion about whether the covid "vaccines" are a good or bad thing. We all already know they do not protect us from the virus, that much is certain.

Mil got Moderna while she had stage 4 lymphoma. Soon afterward, her cancer began to shrink. Its been three years now that it’s been gone.

Just as one can’t say the vax exacerbated their cancer, nor can one say that in her case the vax cured it.

Peggy Sue, that's interesting anecdotal story there, but the connection between the shrinking lymphoma and the moderna vaccine is, I am certain ALL medical doctors have told you, doesn't exist. As a matter of fact some oncologists are exceptionally worried about the UPTICK in cancers since covid vacs are given with such frequency. There are many more and many younger colon and breast cancer victims. Breast cancer itself is going UP by 3% to 5% estimated yearly.
My own doctor told me, since I have mastectomy on right and take all injections (11 so far) in left arm that my covid vac now should be no more than once a year booster. That after I showed up with a new triple negative breast cancer near left axilla in left breast last February.

We don't KNOW yet what long term is on this stuff. My SIL in a study now regarding his getting a huge blood clot in his lung with no predisposing factors. They are saying long covid? Maybe? No idea.
Another friend in a Long Covid study as well.
We have to be careful out here. Do what we choose making our best guesses with our own docs but so far this IS guesswork.

Right now, unless to cull the herd of very old and very ill, covid is not appreciably killing anyone. Here and likely here to stay but greatly weakening. I wish all best of luck with their own choices. I am the last to say I know anything.
But one case of anything one way or another, means not much.

I agree Alva, ya gotta weigh your options, and decide for yourself, with no judgement to others, for there choice.

I didn't get one last year, actually probably wouldn't this year, but we are flying in January.
