Because the NH she is in lies about wait time and I need the truth. The Administrator tells me I cannot look at the print out cause its not considered for her health. I feel I have that right because if she lays 2 hours in a dirty brief and then they tell me no its was only 5 minutes and it does effect her health. I'm tired of the lies. I need this answered please.

Find Care & Housing
If you want to get an attorney involved the log could be subpoenaed.

Is it mom that is telling you she is waiting two hours? With the elderly, if they remember the details at all, frequently exaggerate because they are not happy there.

I would say yes. If they won't give it to you call the state Ombudsman.

These are internal documents so I doubt it. If you are convinced the care is inadequate I'm not sure what you would gain by seeing the log, do you expect that having proof will change anything? IMO you need to decide what your next steps are: contact the ombudsman, move her, or hire extra outside caregivers.

The call light has everything to do with her health. What if your Mom was trying to get help for heart attack or stroke symptoms, not able to verbalize and used the call light as we are all instructed to do? It matters and it’s appalling that the administrator would down play your concerns. You stated “I’m tired of the lies” so I’m assuming you have already had concerns with your mom’s care. Are you able to consider a hidden camera (make sure it’s legal to place one)? That would be far more effective than call light logs. And if you continue to have concerns and the facility is not addressing them, contact the ombudsman. Good luck to you and your mom.
