I just feel tired and feel like I have no time for me.

You MUST make time for yourself, if you're ever going to get over your feelings of bitterness. That's the number one mistake that most caregivers make, and that's not taking care of themselves as well. You are just as important as your husband who you are caring for.
Now that may mean having family coming in for a few days so you can get away for a few hours a day to do things you enjoy, or even hiring some outside help, so you can do the same.
And it doesn't have to be anything big, just getting away with a few friends for lunch, can do wonders for your soul. So please try and do some small things several times a week, so you can rejuvenate your soul, so you can continue on your caregiving journey. You're worth it!

It’s completely understandable to feel as you do. It’s only natural to become exhausted and resentful if all you are doing is working.

Many on this forum are going through similar issues to yours, or have been through it in the past and remain posting here to help others.

If you burn out you won’t be able to help anyone else. We aren’t designed to go 24/7 without getting physical and emotional rest.

I hope you find a viable solution
soon. Please look into getting some help. Perhaps, speak with a social worker for guidance.

Dear Mandy,

Sorry to hear how you feel. It is incredibly hard to care for a loved one all the time. As the oldest daughter, I felt like I needed to be a martyr and be unconditional and selfless about doing things for my parents. Like you there is a lot of bitterness, anger and resentment. I still wish I could go back in time and do things differently.

Feeling tired all the time and bitterness is a sign of burnout. Please try and find some outside help. Talk to a social worker. Look at community supports. Or even hiring someone.
