I can't imagine anybody would be okay with accepting this donation. The thought is kind (and eco-friendly), but... no. It'll just be a no. Recycle them somewhere so that they don't go into landfill.

I have seen many on here who were unable to get the system for the few months it was covered on Medicare - the pump system itself is fine to offer to someone (they can easily order the collection container that also comes with a new tubing for like $25) and then purchase their own wicks - the pump that you have is I believe like $800 that is the motor/pump - it does not come into contact with urine.
I have used it for 3 years for my mom - the pump/motor is fine for anyone to use and they can just order their own collection container and wicks (wicks are also individually wrapped) - the only thing someone would really need to order new would be the $25 collection set. I think it is great to donate them to someone - they have saved my moms skin 😊

You won't be able to donate it to any type of organization or facility for a variety of reasons, but you can go onto Nextdoor.com and put it out there as a free item to an individual.

I worked for a Visiting Nurse Association and we were not able to take this type of donation. Nothing that was exposed to bodily functions or blood born pathogens. We had to turn away diabetic meters because blood could accumulate where the strips are inserted.

I’m new to this page. Literally I search on google “help with adquiring low cost purewick” and this pop up. I have no idea if this is allow, if it’s not I apologize. My mom is in need of a purewick “we found out about it, at the hospital where they use it on her” Her life change completely, a week ago she was walking and today she’s at home unable to move :( She can’t move at all, she was diagnosed with “spinal pressure” After going through surgery she is now back home unable to move, she has no strength on legs or arms. Now im here trying to find ways to make her feel better. Anyway I'm truly in need of this and if this is allow let me know if you’re still considering and donating this. Thank you and god bless you.

I understand. But when you are out of health Insurance and unable to cover the cost.. you seek other options. I truly believe it can be sanitize properly and then just buy the attachments.

My mother has had 6 full spine surgeries in the last couple months. We have been on a search for affordable purewicks with no luck. We would be happy to pay you something for them if you still have them.
