If I were in your shoes there’s a 100% chance I’d leave each and every time abuse happened. There’s no reason, including another person’s physical frailties, to stick around for abuse. Guard your physical and emotional health, once gone it doesn’t come back

Tomago, to my horror I see that this is your fourth year on the forum. What's the situation now and what (if anything) has changed or become firmly established in that time?

In February 2018, you posted this:
"Thanks for all the encouraging words. but there really isn't any help out there.
I went to countless agencies (social services, etc.), my church, St Vincent DePaul, and there is nothing.
The general feeling is, "You're a capable guy, it's her house".
This is not a pity-party, it's just the way it is.
I'll be out in a few days.
The bad guys won. They always do.
It's the way it is...homelessness.

Thanks for your kind thoughts".

Did you leave and come back?
