The hospital never gets back with me to answer any of my questions or concerns. I don't believe she has covid. I need to know what to do or how to get the information I need to get her released so I can make sure she is getting the right treatment.

Why do you not believe it is COVID?

I am sorry that they aren’t communicating with you.

Keep trying to contact them. Try another way. Do you know of an email address to use to send an email?

Can you ask her primary care doctor to contact the hospital and then relay info to you?

Others will have suggestions for you.

Wishing you all the best during this trying time.

You need to ask to have a care manager, a case manager, whatever that institution calls it. It is very difficult to get anyone right now. Nurses are quitting (something I knew would come with this round). They are in desperate circumstances. Your Mom is either positive or not for Covid. ANYONE can give you this information if you are next of kin or POA. Ask for a Social Worker if you need to. I don't understand your not "believing" that this is true? I cannot imagine why anyone would lie about such a thing. Who gave you the information that she does have Covid. They generally know in the ER now whether testing positive or not; need to know before transfer to floor. I hope you will keep on this information. Simply ask when test was done. Typically now with a fast back test they are also doing a second confirmation test that takes about 2 or 3 days to come back. Good luck.
