I am 33 years old. Not permanently employed. Even when I give her money, it is not enough. I feel it is too much cause I can't even buy things for my kids, partner and myself. Suicidal thoughts always in my mind.

Hi Baekana,
Caregiving is a long, difficult road, and we're happy you have found the support of others here on this site. However, there are limits to what untrained members of the forum can provide for you.
If you are experiencing thoughts of suicide, please reach out to experts for additional support by calling the 24/7 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
I'm sure other caregivers will be along shortly to provide more words of encouragement and advice. Hang in there and please take care of yourself!

You have kids. They are your first priority, second is yourself, and then mom who is set relative to you with guaranteed ss and Medicare for life.

More info would be helpful: is your mother old enough for Medicare and social security? If she lives with you she needs to go. She can contact social services for her county to apply for an Elder Waiver or Section 8 housing (govt subsidized). She can get food stamps, etc. Your family comes first and you must defend this. She obviously doesn't care about you or them. Therefore, she must go. If she lives with you, you can evict her. If you live with her, you must move out. It will be hard at first but it will get better once she stops sucking off of you.
