He starts earlier and earlier in the day. He sleeps all night thankfully. He's on zoloft and that has helped him in the past. Any suggestions?

Any time there is a change in behavior it is a good idea to get the person tested for a UTI.
UTI does not always cause a burning sensation when urinating. In older people the only indication is when there is a change in behavior. Agitation, acting aggressive, maybe getting the chills, an ache in the back. So pretty much you would suspect anything except a UTI.
In any case you talk to his doctor about the increased agitation it may be time to adjust medication.

Contact his doctor immediately for medications to calm his anger and agitation.

I might get him tested for a UTI, which can cause drastic behavior changes. Definitely talk to his doctor.

Have you discussed or messaged this new behavior concern with his doctor and asked what might help calm it? You need to be safe and comfortable, this could further escalate at any time. Don’t hesitate to call 911 if needed. Hopefully a new medication regimen will help
