Find Care & Housing
Go to social services ASAP. I didn't need POA to apply for Medicaid for my father so I'm not sure if you'll need that but you will need her SS number and income and bank statements so if you don't know and have access to those, then you will need DPOA. Or maybe Mom will cooperate with you if you explain you need to apply for help. I went through a similar situation as far as the Doctors, they don't help much and pretty quickly things will go downhill fast so you need to do it on your own. Do it now before the stress level is suffocating. You can also think about Adult Protection services but I'm not sure that's the best Idea, its possible that could do more harm than good. The nuclear option is 911. Mom to hospital, you adamantly tell them you can't provide safe care for her at home. They will see that as you need to work to earn an income. The social worker there and team of Drs should then see it would be unsafe discharge and will work to find placement for her and help you apply for state help.

If finances are an issue she needs to apply for Medicaid (you will need to do this for her, so hopefully you have her durable Power of Attorney). Call social services in your county (Department of Health and Human Services). You can also contact your area council on aging for resources. You don't provide much info in your post or your profile, so hard to know what other advice to give. Blessings!

Apply for Extra Help from Social Security. Call the SS office to apply. They will assign her to a Part D Medicare drug plan. If approved you will get a sheet in the mail to take to her pharmacist. My aunt got most of her prescriptions for $3.00 for 30 days. Depended on which medication.
